This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Dr. L. W. Shatterly of this office on November 19 and 20, 1981, of activities at Northern blinois University authorized by NRC Byproduct Material' Licenses No. 12-10513-03 and
-No. 12-10513-04 and to the discussion of our findings with Dr. K. V. Prahlad and Mr. John Robinson at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspection was en examination of _ activities conducted under your license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license. The inspec-tion consisted of a selective examination of procedures and representative records, observations, independent measurements, and interviews with personnel.
No items of noncompliance with NRC requirements were identified durrag the course of this inspection.
In addition, the inspector examined actions described in letter dated November 21, 1979, signed by Mr. John Robinson, regarding corrective action taken on apparent items of noncompliance found during our October 30 and 31, 1979, intpection of Licenses No. 12-10513 and No. 12-10513-04. We have no further questions regarding these matters.
