An initial draf t of the Ecchtel plan is to be available for SNUPPS review by Hovember 15, 1976.

i Review' of the Anchar-Darling QA Manual aaproved by Sechtel

- for use on the design and fabrication of nuclear valves for SNUPPS indicates that this suopiier's manual is limited to pressure boundary components and parts covered by AS"E-Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and has not been extended to other safety-related, non-Code itens or parts as required.

i. It is SMUPPS understanding that ASME-acceotaole manuals have been approved for use by other valve and equipment suppliers without similarly having been extended or otheraise supple-i tented to ccver safety-related non-Code items or carts.

As discussed with Bechtel on October 2Sth, it is understood
