Dear Mr. Reid:
The Sacramento Municipal Utility District (the " Licensee") is licensed to operate Rancho Seco Ruclear Cenerating Station, Unit 1 (the "S ta ti on"). The Licensee is required by 10 C.F.R., Pa.-t 50, Appendix E.V.
to submit to the i1RC by March 1,1981, the detailed implementing procedures for the proposed revision to the Station Plan. Ten (10) copies of the above procedures are to be forwarded to the Director of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, and three (3) copies to the Regional Director, NRC Inspection and Enforcement, Region V (the " Regional Director"). This letter is sub-mitted to document compliance with the foregoing requirements.
The proposed revision to the Station Plan and its detailed imple-menting procedures are currently scheduled to be reviewed, amended if necessary, and approved by Licensee's Plant Review and Management Safety Review Conmittees.
Upon such approval, the proposed revision to the Station Plan and its imple-menting procedures will be implemented in the form of a revision to Station Administrative Procedure 500.
