A representativo of the P.cckland County Conservation Aspeciation vill be mking a statenont at the hearings on the India i Foint Ihnlear Pouer Plants to be held b-/ the IRC in Uestchester County, New York, on April 21-23.
If it is necessary for the hearings to continue beyond April 23rd, we requeat that an;/ future hearings also be held in an area local to the Indian Point plants. Organizations such as curs have neither the funds nor the nanpouer available to testify at hearings out of our local arca. Since decisions on Indian Point rost vitally affect thcac living near the plants, every effort should be cade to acconcodato local input and opinion.
