AMENDMENT TO JUNE 3, 1980 l
APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT l
OF FACILITY OPERATING LICENSES DPR-44 & DPR-56 On June 3,.1980, Philadelphia Electric Company, Licensee under Facility Operating Licenses DPR-44 and DPR-56 for Peach Bottom Units 2 and 3, filed an Application for Amendment of the Licenses which requested that the Technical Specifications contained in Appendix A of the Operating Licenses be amended by l'
making certain changes relating to the plant organization.
The requested changes to the Technical Specifications were indicated in proposed revised pages 245 and-246 which were filed as part of the June 3, 1980, Application.

1 Discussions with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Staff have indicated that further revisions to the Technical Specifications specifically relating to the Health Physics organization should be made.
Accordingly, Licensee hereby amends its Application of June 3, 1980, by deleting the proposed revised pages 245 and 246 from the Application and substituting therefor the proposed revised pages 245 and 246 which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
The amendment to the Application of June 3, 1980, deletes the proposed reorganization of the Health Physics gr.oup, while retaining the proposal changing the title " Engineer-Health Physics" to " Health Physicist".
The individual presently assigned to this position meets the qualifications of Regulatory Guide 1.8, September 1975,
" Guidelines for Radiation Protection Managers Qualifications".
The Plant Operation Review Committee and the Operation and Safety Review Committee have reviewed the changes to the Technical Specifications proposed herein and have concluded that they do not involve an unreviewed safety question or a significant hazard consideration and will not endanger the health and safety of the public.
