By this letter, Public Service Company of Indiana, Inc. (PSI) requests your approval for use of the following ASME Code Cases that are not included in either Regulatory Guide 1.84 or 1.85:

l Code Case N-310 Certification of Bolting Materials l
l Additionally, by a letter dated Januaqr 23, 1981, PSI requested your approval for use of ASME Code Case N-298.
This Code Case provides that magnetic particle or liquid penetrant examination as spe:ified in NF-5111 may be used in lieu of visual examination required by NF-5200 for Class 1, 2, 3 and MC component supports. To date, PSI has not been notified of the NRC approval for use of this Code Case.
