G ACCEPTABILITY OF SAMPLE PISULTS Note the April 3,1974 letter from Region III to Comonwealth Edison Cocpany with the attached results of split samples on

..E effluents. Tais letter raises two questions:

(1) Is this the proper avenue for informing Cocuonwealth Edison of the

ci AEC results, and (2) How do the results of the other splits

During the tine in which we have had these cooperative agree-j_

rents between AEC and the states, a question which frequently c

hao arisen is how do we place on the public records the results of the split scaples and how do we resolve significant differ-I ences in results. I surmise, prior to dispatching the April 3 letter, that Region III had resolved any differences to a satisfactory level.
