SUBJECT:
BOMB THREAT

On July 9,1980, at 9:07 a.m. (CDST), a bomb threst was received by the Public Safety desk officer through the site switchboard at t.he Yellow Creek construc-tion site. An unidentified woman told the officer:
"I'm just going to say this once so listen carefully. There are three bombs in the reactor area." he licensee evacuated the site and is conducting a search. The Tishoeingo Sheriffs Department was notified. Construction is 1% complete on Unit I and 3% on Unit 2.
No fuel is on site.
There has been no media interest. A news release is not planned by the licensee or the NRC. The State of Mississippi has been informedL.
The IAT was notified.
