At our meeting on April 21, 1971, with representatives of the Department of the Interior and other agencies, to discuss the type and depth of information to be included in draft detailed statements for nuclear power plants, it was suggested by Mr. Bruce Blanchard that it would expedite the Department's comments if you had copies of the applicant's environmental report prior to the preparation of our draf t detailed statement. Accord-ingly, I am transmitting under separate cover copies of the environmental rworts shown on t % anclosed list.
These reports are now under review by the AEC regulatory staff, and we will forward to you for comment. our draf t detailed statement for each of these facilities as they are completed.
