Proprietary Information Regarding Cycle IV Operation with Modified CEA Guide Tubes Our letter Reference (c) transmitted to you the proprietary Com-busion Engineering Inc. report CEN-93(M)-P entitled " Maine Yankee Reactor Operation with Modified CEA Guide Tubes." Enclosed herewith is Amendment 1-P to that report, entitled " Maine Yankee Cycle III Guide Tube Inspection and Analysis." The purpose of this report is to present information obtained during the inspection of the Cycle III fuel assembly guide tubes.
In addition this data clearly supports the observations and enalyses used as a basis to justify continued reactor operation.
This supplemental report is considered proprietary to Combusion Engineering Inc. and you are, therefore, requested to withhold it from public disclosure pursuant to 10CFR2.790. An affidavit supporting the proprietary nature of this information is attached. A non-proprietary version of this report is unavailable at this time; however, copies will be submitted to you when received.
These reports are serialized and are submitted under Maine Yankee's control distribution procedures. You are requested to promptly sign and return the enclosed receipt, and to return the report (s) when no longer of use to the staff.
