To complete its review, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff requests additional information. The specific NRC requests are provided in italics.
NRC Request No. 1:
- 1. Please provide the 10-year ISi interval for which the proposed alternative is requested. As part of the response, please provide the start and end dates of the ISi interval.
WCNOC Response:
The 10-year ISi interval for which the proposed alternative is required began on September 3, 2015 and ends on September 2, 2025. This is the fourth 10-year ISi interval for Wolf Creek Generating Station.
NRC Request No. 2:
- 2. Please describe the frequency of the walk-downs that will be conducted to identify leakage after the weld overlay installation.
WCNOC Response:
Walkdowns will be performed twice daily ( once per shift) by Operations.
