This letter refers to the inspection conducted by Dr. Richard K. Struck.meyer of this office on
May 12- 24,1993, of activities authorized by NRC License Nos. DPR-44 and DPR-56 at the
Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station ' Units 2 and 3, Delta, Pennsylvania, and Nuclear Group
Headquarters, Wayne, Pennsylvania. At the conclusion of the inspection, a discussion of our
findings was held by Dr. Struckmeyer with Mr. J. Ballantine and other members of your staff.
Areas examined during this inspection included the implementation of your radiological-
f
environmental monitoring program and meteorological monitoring program as described in the
'
NRC Region I Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and. representative records,
,
interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.

Within the scope of this inspection, no safety concerns or violations were observed and no reply
to this letter is required.
