I am writing to you to voice my objection to the building of a uranium encrichment facility in northwestern Louiaiana. I am chocked that with the dengers involved in such a plant, with the production of U233 as a byproduct, which can be radioactive for millions of years, that auch a matter would even be given conci-doration.
Ac one of the regulators in this case, I am counting on you to do all you can to ctop it.
I had hoped that with the end at the cold war, we would have enough sence to otop the pro-duction of auch dangerous materials. Alas, what I think we are dealing with is a vested interest v!hich will offer the usual bait of
" jobs" as an excuco to : teep the nonentum going, regard 1csc of the fears of citizens.
