50-423/93-11 (OL)

From April 19 - 21, 1993, the NRC administered initial examinadons to four of your
employees who operate the Millstone Point Station, Unit 3. The results of the examination
are that three senior reactor operator candidates and one reactor operator candidate passed all
portions of the examination and were issued licenses. The examination was conducted in
accordance with Revision 7 to NUREG-1021, Operator Licensing Examiner Standards.
The examiners had a generic finding regarding the high quality of station operating
procedures. Also, the examiners concluded that the candidates generally exhibited strong
communication and self-verification practices.
