Dear Mr. Link:
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. J. F. Schapker of this office
on April 14-15, 21-22 and May 5-6, 1993. The inspection included a review of
authorized activities for your Point Beach Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2.
The focus of this inspectica was your inservice inspection and other outage
activities. At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed
with those members of your staff identified in the enclosed report.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within
these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures,
representative records, observation of activities and interviews with
personnel.

No violations of NRC requirements were identified during the course of this
inspection.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of
this letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC
Public Document Room.
