SUBJECT: COMBINED INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-352/93-07 AND 50-353/93-07
This letter transmits the results of the resident safety inspection by Messrs. T. Kenny,
N. Perry, and T. Easlick, from March 14 through April 17, 1993, at the Limerick
Generating Station, Limerick, Pennsylvania. The inspection focused on the obsenation of
activities important to ensuring the public health and safety. Reviews of documents and
interviews of plant personnel were also performed. The results are documented in the
enclosed report and were discussed with Mr. R. Boyce of your staff, at the conclusion of the
inspection.
The inspectors noted good operator response to several events with thorough investigations
and appropriate corrective actions (Section 1). Additionally, actions taken in response to
high noble gas activity in the plant were observed as quick and comprehensive (Section 4).
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and
its enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
