Dear Mr. DelGeorge:
This confirms our plans as discussed between Ms. Sara Reese-Koenig of your staff and Mr. Martin J. Farber of this office to have a meeting with you and members of your staff at the Byron Training Center, Byron, Illinois on Tuesday, May 18, 1993 at 2:00 p.m. (CDT). The purpose of the meeting is to present the Initial SALP 11 Report for Byron Station.
We encourage you to have appropriate corporate and plant management representation at the meeting to ensure a mutual understanding of the issues and findings being presented by the NRC.
While this meeting is considered a presentation and discussion forum between Commonwealth Edison and the NRC, the meeting will be opened to any other interested parties as observers.
Those persons outside the licensee and NRC staffs should inforn; the Regional Office of their intent to participate.
We hope this meeting will benefit your organization and provide you with a meaningful characterization of the overall safety performance for the Byron plant.
