Environmental Studies Procram The following reports related to the environmental studies program have been submitted to the United States Environmental Protection Agency pursuant to National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit No. NH0020338, Part I.B.1.f:
. Normandeau Associates Technical Report XXIll-1, "Seabrook Environmental Studies,1991 A Characterization of Environmental Conditions in the Hampton-Seabrook Area During the Operation of Seabrook Station" dated November 1992 (Attachment 1) submitted to the EPA by letter dated November 19,1992 (NYE-92025). This report summarizes environmental data results from 1975 through 1991.
The Technical Report for 1992 is not yet available, but will be forwarded as part of the 1993 submittal.
Environmental studies letter report (Attachment 2) submitted to the EPA by letter dated November 19, 1992 (NYE-92025).
This letter report summarizes the Environmental Studies Program through November 1992. The letter report provides a summary of the Environmental Studies Program replacing the voluminous data report which had been submitted to the EPA in past years.

Environmental Protection Plan Activities for Reoortine Period Acuatic Monitorine The following reports related to aquatic monitoring have been submitted to the United States Environmental Protection Agency pursuant to National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit No. NH0020338 to demonstrate compliance with the thermal component of the station discharge as required by Part I A.1.n(2) of the permit:
e "1991 Ocean Temperature Compliance Report" (Attachment 3) submitted to the EPA by letter dated March 12,1992 (NYE-92009). This report summarizes ocean temperature data acquired in 1991.
e "1992 Ocean Temperature Compliance Report" (Attachment 5) submitted to the EPA by letter dated March 19,1993 (NYE-93006). This report summarizes ocean temperature data acquired in 1992.

EPP Non-Compliance and Corrective Actions There were 74 NPDES exceedences reported in the Seabrook Station Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs) for the reporting period (1992). A summary description of those exceedances is provided in Attachment 4.

Non-Routine R eport s, On September 25,1992 an oil spill of approximately 100 to 150 gallons of diesel fuel occurred outside the Diesel Generator Building within the protected area (PA). No ground water, surface water or soil contamination resulted. The NRC (Division of Reactor Projects) was copied on the subsequent notification to the State of New Hampshire ar,d the USEPA.
