This refers to ycur application dated January 26, 1993, requesting renewal of Certificate of Compliance No. 9222 for the Model No.14-215 shipping package.
Since an application was submitted at least 30 days prior to the expiration of the Certificate of Compliance, the Certificate of Compliance will not be deemed to have expired until the application has finally been determined.
In connection with our review, we need the information identified in the enclosure to this letter.

Drawinas Provide a sketch to show the primary lid gasket (Item 20) modification at the vent port passage on Drawing No. STD-02-077, Revision 8.
Structural Provide an analysis or technical data to show that use of 1-1/4" x 5 Acme type screw threads on the ratchet binder threaded parts will not change or reduce the allowable load of the ratchet binder.
General Maintenance Prooram Revise Section 8.2 of the application to specify that s leak test, according to Section 8.1.3, will be performed whenever a gasket is replaced.
Note that gaskets are to be replaced whenever damaged, or every 12 months, whichever occurs first.
