f The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has approved the publication of a change to the General Statement of Policy and Procedure for NRC Enforcement Actions (Enforcement Policy).

The Enforcement Policy is codified as Appendix C to 10 CFR Part 2 and is effective i

iamediately.

The change involves modifying the Enforcement Policy to supple-ment the guidance relating to the situatione in which the NRC Staff may exercise enforcement discretion.

The enclosed Federal Register notice further describes the changes incorporated in the revision.
