Dear Mr. Grimsley:
i Pursuant to the provisions of the Freedom of Information i
Act (5 U.S.C.
5552) and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) policies and regulations (10 C.F.R. Part 9, Subpart A), I request a copy of any reports 1) by the office of the Inspector and Auditor (OIA) related to OIA's 1988. review of staff's implementation of plant-specific backfit procedures, and 2) on a 1991 followup review by the staff of the Executive Director of Operations (EDO) regarding implementation of recommendations from the 1988 OIA audit.
These reviews were discussed in correspondence from Edward L.
Jordan to Nicholas S. Reynolds, dated June 16, 1992.
I would appreciate your prompt response within ten (10) working days of the receipt of this request, as provided for by'10 C.F.R. Part 9 and the NRC's policies.
