NOTICE OF VIOLATION DATED FEBRUARY 11, 1993 i
This acknowledges receipt of your letter dated March 9,1993, in response to our letter dated February 11, 1993, transmitting a Notice of Violation.
Regarding your response to Violation No.1, Mr. J. R. Mullauer of my staff was informed during a telephone conversation with Dwight Witter on March 31, 1993 that you are not contesting the violation and agree that the violation occurred as stated in the Notice. Therefore, we have no further questions concerning violation No. 1.
Regarding your response to Violation No. 2, you indicate that you have filed an application for an approved Quality Assurance Program to achieve corrective action.
Requests to modify or add commitments and procedures are not l
effective until approved by the NRC.
Therefore, we caution you regarding implementation of any new procedures before they have been approved by the NRC.
Your corrective actions for the remaining violations appear adequate and we have no further questions at this time.
