The United Stated Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has granted the request of Florida Power & Light Company (the licensee) to l
withdraw its December 17, 1992 application for proposed amendment to Facility j
Operating License No. DPR-67 for St. Lucie, Unit 1, located in St. Lucie l
l County, Florida.
1 The proposed amendment would have revised the Technical Specifications to allow certain monitoring functions to be performed with a reduced number of operable incore detector locations.
The Commission had previously issued a Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on January 21, 1993 (58 FR 5432).
However, by letter dated March 31, 1993, the licensee withdrew the proposed change.
For further details with respect to this action, see the application for amendment dated December 17, 1992, and the licensee's letter dated March 31, 1993, which withdrew the application for licensee amendment.
