SUBJECT:

Emereenev Preparedness Procedure Distribution Scheduk The purpose of this memorandum is to inform the Station Emergency Response Organization (SERO) that the recently revised Emergency Preparedness procedures are scheduled for distribution during the week of April 19,1993. The Emergency Preparedness procedums will be effective on Saturday, May 1,1993. The applicable procedures will be distributed to the Station Emergency Response Organization on a Document Acknowledgment Sheet (DAS). Individuals will sign the DAS, and pass it to the next name on the fonn. When the last person signs it, return tlc DAS to the Administration Office for documentation. Since the procedures become effective on May 1, it is imperative that the DAS pass through the appropriate people in an expedient manor.

Effective May 1,1993 SERO Manager's procedures will no longer be kept in a cabinet in the Emergency Operations Facility (EOF) lobby. An Emergency Preparedness Procedure Guide Book containing controlled copies of the applicable procedures for your work will be maintained at your emergency work desk, station or kit. Extra copies of procedure attachments, forms or enclosures necessary for your work will be included or filed in your desk drawer.

The new Emergency Plan Procedures will be used dudng the May training drill. It is requested that you take this opportunity to become familiar with the way that your work center is laid out.

You will also have the opponunity to comment on the applicability of the procedures and facilities at the conclusion of the drill.

New procedure training has been implemented for specified positions. Training for these positions will be completed pdor to the implementation date. Training for the mmainder of the SERO will be via the DAS. Formal training will be during the annual 1993 schedule.
