SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-482/93-11
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. J. L Pellet of this office,
and the personnel identified in the enclosed report,.on March 15-19, 1993.

The inspection included an ' assessment of the qualifications of 11 individuals
who 1.ad applied fnr licenses to operate your Wolf Creek facility and one
currently licensed individual for license renewal purposes. At the' conclusion
of the inspection, findings of generic significance were discussed with those
members of your staff identified in the enclosed report.

Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. .Within .
these areas, the inspection consisted of evaluation of license applicants by
the use.of written examinations, dynamic simulations, selected job related
tasks, and oral questioning in accordance with NUP.EG-lC71, " Operator Licensing
Examiner Standards,". Revision 6.
The inspection also._ included'a single senior
reactor operator requalification' examination for license renewal using the.
guidance provided in NUREG-1021, " Operator Licensing Examiner.Staniards,"
Revision 7.
The results of this inspection are documented on pages 1 and 2,
in the enclosed report.

Based on the results of this inspection, all of the applicants for licenses to
operate your Wolf Creek facility satisfied the requirements of 10 CFR-
- 55.33(a)(2) and have been issued the appropriate licenses.
In addition, the
single currently licensed individual passed his requalification examination
and has been notified by separate letter.
