This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. K. E. Johnston and Mr. J. F.

Melfi of this office on January 21 through March 8,1993. The inspection

included a review of activities authorized by NRC License No. NPF-1 for the
Trojan Nuclear Plant. At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were
discussed with those members of your staff identified in the enclosed report.

Areas examined during this inspection are identified in the enclosed report.
Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of

procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel and

observations by the inspectors.

No violations or deviations were identified within the scope of this
inspection.
