MARCH 1993 V. C. Summer Nuclear Station, Unit I was in end-of-cycle power coastdown at the beginning of March. Power had decreased to approximately 95 percent on the 4th, at which time power was reduced to less than 87 percent for main steam safety valve testing. Final power reduction began on March 6th.

The plant was taken off line at 0140 and entered Mode 3 at 0225 on March 6th.
