In accordance with 10 CFR 72.248(a)(1), TN Americas LLC herewith submits the UFSAR, Revision 2 for the CoC 1042 NUHOMS EOS System for docketing.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 72.248(c)(5), this update to the UFSAR incorporates changes to the NUHOMS EOS System implemented by TN Americas LLC under 10 CFR 72.48 since the submittal of UFSAR Revision 1 (Reference 1) on January 31, 2018 through January 10, 2020.
In addition, TN Americas LLC hereby submits a 10 CFR 72.48 summary report pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 72.48(d)(2). The last 10 CFR 72.48 summary report was provided in the Reference 2 submittal. Enclosure 4 provides a brief description of changes, tests, and experiments, including a summary of the 10 CFR 72.48 evaluation of each change implemented from June 7, 2019 to January 10, 2020, including indication as to whether the evaluations had associated UFSAR changes that were incorporated into the UFSAR.
This submittal includes proprietary information, which may not be used for any purpose other than NRC staff use of the UFSAR. In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390, I am providing an affidavit (Enclosure 1) specifically requesting that you withhold this proprietary information from public disclosure. This submittal also includes security-related information, which should be withheld under 10 CFR
Document Control Desk January 29, 2020 E-53168 Page 2 of 3 2.390. The proprietary version of the UFSAR is provided as Enclosure 2. The public version is provided as Enclosure 3. Revision 2 changes are tracked with italicized text and revision bars in the right margin to provide NRC staff reviewers with a convenient way to identify the changes made since Revision 1.
This submittal is being provided as an electronic submission, using the optical storage media (OSM) provision from Section 4 of the NRC Guidance for Electronic Submissions to the NRC.
Accordingly, we have included a Document Components listing and OSM#1 and OSM#2 listings at the end of this cover letter.
