WOLF CREEK NUCLEAR OPERATING CORPORATION - STEADY STATE CORE PHYSICS METHODOLOGY TOPICAL REPORT (TAC NO. M82619)
By letter dated January 15, 1992, Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation (WCNOC) submitted the report, " Qualification of Steady State Core Physics Methodology for Wolf Creek Design and Analysis." This report and the supplemental information provided by your letter of March 12, 1993, presents the methodology and related benchmarking associated with WCN0C's performance of the core design and analyses for the Wolf Creek Generating Station.
The staff has reviewed the report and supplemental information and finds the methodology acceptable for use by Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation for the design and analysis of reload cores for the Wolf Creek Generating Station.
The results of our review are contained in the enclosed Safety Evaluation.
