SUBJECT:
LICENSE RENEWAL ISSUES The staff is currently developing information that further discusses several of the license renewal issues described in SECY-93-049.
The intent of the information is to illustrate the approach proposed in SECY-93-049 through the use of specific examples.
Examples will include a variety of structures and components which will be processed through the integrated plant assessment including application of the " effective program a
requirement.
I believe that this information will assist the Commission in its consideration of the SECY-93-049 recommendations. 'This information will be provided to the Commission by the end of April 1993.
