I commend AEOD for their excellent work in developing these refined Performance Indicators.
The improved statistical treatment of numerical deviations from peer group medians for the eleven indicators provides a powerful discriminator of quality of license management in both operating and shutdown modes.
As with all tools, their utility depends on how they are used.
I would be very interested in learning who will regularly receive copies of these reports and how they are expected to make use of them.
For example, will Senior Resident Inspectors receive copies?
A report after several years of use, on how these kinds of detailed information and studies have actually been used for regulatory purposes should be carefull considered.
