D ket No. 50-320 March 31, 1993 Dr. Robert L. Long Director and Vice President Corporate Services /Directar, TMI-2 GPU Nuclear Corporation Post Office Box 480 Middletown, Pennsylvania 17057-0191
Dear Dr. Long:
SUBJECT:
ORGANIZATION PLAN CHANGE N0. 26 (TAC NO. M86042)
Reference:
Letter from R. L. Long to U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Document Control Desk, TMI-2 Organization Plan - Revision 26 - dated March 15, 1993.
We have completed our review of your proposed partiall reorganization of General Public Utility Nuclear (GPU). As stated in your letter of March 15, 1993, the GPU Nuclear support division site services will be organizationally eliminated and the personnel, functions and responsibilities will be incorporated into the Corporate Services Division..The new division will be called Services.
We understand that the change in name and reporting relationship will not in itself affect any plant system, sub-system, structure, or component at TMI-2.
The proposed change will not eliminate any vital positions or functions within the THI-2 organizations, nor will it change the personnel qualifications for these positions.
It represents a reorganization at the corporate level and does not affect the onsite organization. We, therefore, approve your proposed Organization Plan Revision No. 26. The enclosed Figure 1.1, Revision No. 26 should be substituted for the existing GPU Nuclear Organization Plan Figure 1.1.
This change will become effective on May 1, 1993.
Sincerely, Original signed by:
Seymour H. Weiss, Director Non-Power Reactors and Decommissioning Project Directorate 9304060367 930331 Division of Operating Reactor Support i
