An announced inspection at the Seabrook Station was conducted by Messrs. J. Furia and L.
l
Eckert on February 16-19, 1993. The inspection findings were discussed with members of
your staff on February 19, 1993.
Areas reviewed during the inspection were importaut to health and safety and are discussed
in the enclosed inspection report. These areas included quality assurance audits and
j
surveillances, training and qualifications of personnel, the radwaste organization,
l
implementation of the radwaste program, radioactive material shipping records, interim
l
radwaste storage, scaling factors, and contamination control.
i
i
The audit, training, and radwaste programs was well implemented. Radwaste volume
l
generation remained small. No radiological safety concerns or violations of regulatory
requirements were identified.
