XB0090-93, dated Febmary 22,1993, identified $33,096.00 in charges for licensing actions for j
the period from March 22,1992 through June 27,1992. _ Portland General Electric Company (PGE) has reviewed this invoice and determined that the charges associated with TAC Item i
77987 wereincorrectly assessed.

and Ms. Leah Tremper, License Fee and Debt Collection Branch, activities associated with this :

TAC Item were completed on January 31,1992 with the issuance of Amendment 177 to NPF-1.
l However, Invoice XB0090-93 identi6es $1,495.00 in charges for the period ofMarch 22,1992 -
i through June 27,1992 related to TAC Item 77987. PGE requests that the NRC investigate these :
charges pursuant to the provisions of10 CFR 1531. Pending resolution of this matter PGE will withhold payment for the disputed amount (SI,495.00) of the invoice. The remainder of the charges in Invoice XB0090-93 will be paid by the due date ofMarch 24,1993.
