208(b)1 EXCEPTION During your tenure as an ACRS member you are not to participate in any particular matter the outcome of which will have a direct and predictable effect on the financial interests of any business
- entity, including nonprofit organizations and educational institutions, not exempted under 10 CFR S 0.735-21(c) (involving remote or inconsequential financial interest) in which you or any members of your immediate household hold financial interests which fall within the purview of NRC regulatory responsibilities.
These include but are not limited to business entities in which you own stock or bonds or are an officer, director, trustee, partner, or f
employee or to which you provide consulting services.
Also included are business entities with which you are negotiating for employment or have any arrangement concerning future employment.
However, pursuant to 18 U.S.C. 208(b) and 10 CFR S 0.735-21(d), you need not be precluded from rendering advice of a general nature from which no preference or advantage over others might be gained by any particular persons or organization.
