We are currently integrating your review request with other efforts and will notify you of our review schedule. Reviews of Topical Reports by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission typically require a year or longer to-complete and involve written questions as well as meetings and/or conference calls.
You mentioned in your letter that your Topical places emphasis on the treatment of mixed waste. The regulation of mixed waste is under the joint responsibility of both NRC and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). As such, the mixed waste portion of your topical should also be under review at EPA. The person at EPA responsible for reviewing mixed waste treatment technologies is Richard LaShier.
