Nuclear Fuel Services, Inc. (NFS) requests that the renewal application dated December 8,1992, for Certificate of Compliance No. 5492 (Model No. RMG-181-1) be withdrawn.
NFS has reviewed the potential uses for the RMG-181-1 shipping package and determined that the effort required to respond to your letter of February 12,1993, is not justified by the need for this package. Material for which this container could have been used can be shipped in other more readily available packages. The decision to withdraw the renewal request was based on these facts.
