REVIEW 0F REVISIONS TO EMERGENCY PLAN MANUAL i

This is to acknowledge receipt of revisions to the Point Beach Emergency Plan Manual which were transmitted by letter dated January 1,1993. These changes revised procedures EP 2.0, EP 4.0, EP 5.0, EP 6.0, EP 7.0, EP 8.0, EP 9.0, and EP Indexes A, B, C, E, F, G, I, and J.

One of the major changes in these revisions was to delete the position of Technical Support Manager in the Technical Support Center (TSC). This will clarify and simplify the TSC reporting chain.

t We have reviewed the changes to the Point Beach Emergency Plan Manual' and have determined that they are consistent with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(q) and do not decrease the effectiveness of the emergency plan.

Therefore, these.

changes are acceptable.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
