SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-3B2/93-01

This refers to the inspection conducted by Messrs. T. O. McKernon and

R. B. Vickrey of this office on February 8-12, 1993.

The inspection included

a review of activities authorized for your Waterford 3 Steam Electric Station

facility. At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed

with Mr. R. Azzarello and those members of your staff identified in the

enclosed report.

Areas examined during the inspection included a review of your corrective

actions related to findings of the electrical distribution system functional

inspection (NRC Inspection Report 50-382/90-23). Within these areas, the

inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and

representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of

activities in progress. The results of this inspection are docun.ented in the

enclosed report.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of

this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.

to discuss them with you.
