This refers to the safety inspection conducted by Mr. R. A. McBreany of this office on
January 25-29,1993, at White Plains, New York. The results of the inspection were
'
discussed with Mr. R. Lauman at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I inspection report
l
enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective
j
examinations of procedures and representative records and interviews with personnel. The
'
inspection covered areas considered importain to safety including an assessment of the
inservice inspection program and the erosion-corrosion monitoring program.
Within the scope of this inspection, we concluded that the areas of each program examined
during this inspectica were conducted in accordance with applicable requirements, and no
violations were observed.
