REVISION TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 3/4.7.8 SNUBBERS Union Electric Company. herewith transmits an application for amendment to Facility Operating License Number NPF-30 for the Callaway Plant.

This amendment involves a revision to Technical. Specification 3/4.7.8 Surveillance Requirement.4.7.8.d to allow a'one-time schedule extension for the snubber transient event' l

inspection.

As_ described'in the attached Safety Evaluation, the surveillance inspection is due to be performed by June 14, 1993; therefore we request.your.

review and approval of this by this date.

The Callaway Plant On-Site Review Committee and the Nuclear Safety Review Board have reviewed and approved this amendment application.

Attachments 1 through 5 provide the Technical Specification changes, Safety Evaluation, Significant Hazards Evaluation, and Environmental:

Consideration, respectively.

We have concluded that this amendment application does not involve an unreviewed safety question as defined in 10CFR50.59, nor a significant hazard consideration as determined per'10CFR50.92.
