JAMES A. FITZPATRICK NUCLEAR POWER PLANT WITHDRAWAL OF AN AMENDMENT REQUEST (TAC NO. M82515)
By letter dated November 19, 1991, you applied for an amendment to the James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant Operating License No. DPR-59.
The proposed change would have revised the surveillance requirements associated i
with the Emergency Service Water (ESW) pumps and incorporated the inservice inspection and testing of Section XI of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
Subsequently, by letter dated February 23, 1993, you withdrew the amendment request.

The NRC has reviewed your request to withdraw the November 19, 1991, i
application for an amendment. The NRC hereby grants your withdrawal request and acknowledges your commitment to submit a revised Technical Specification amendment application by June 30, 1993. The NRC did not issue a Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment for the stated application.
Based on the details discussed above, we have closed TAC No. M82515.
