On February 9,1993, Ms. Mary Ann Crotty wrote to Chairman Selin indicating that you will coordinate New York State's reviews of documents relating to the Chevron-National Park Service decommissioning project in Pawling, New York.
We are providing you with copies of the following documents:
1.
Decommissioning Plan for the Plutonium Facility and Multiple Failure Building of the National Park Service Property Located Near Pawling, New York for Chevron USA, Incorporated; 2.
Underwater Investigation of Nuclear Lake; 3.
Work Plan for the Soil Remediation of the National Park Service Property Located Near Pawling, New York; and 4.
Health and Safety Plan for the Remediation of the National Park Service Property Located Near Pawling, New York.
If you have comments on the first two documents above, please transmit them to us by March 31, 1993.
Please note that, on December 11, 1992, we approved the soil remediation work plan and the health and safety plan.
