SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS 50-338/92-32 AND 50-339/92-32
This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission-(NRC) inspection conducted by
Mr. M. Lesser of this' office on December 20 - January. 16, 1993. -The
inspection included a review of activities authorized for your North Anna
facility. At the conclusion of the inspection, the' findings were discussed
'
with those members of your staff identified in the enclosed report;
Areas examined during the inspection are identi_fied in the report.. Within'
these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures
.and representative records, interviews with personnel, and ' observation of
activities'in progress.
The enclosed Inspection Report identifies activities that violated.NRC -
requirements that will not be subject to enfor:ement action because the
.
licensee's efforts in identifying and/or correcting the violation meet the
criteria specified in Section VII.B of the Enforcement Policy.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice", a copy of
this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
