This -letter submits Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation's.- (WCNOC)~
response to - comments received from the Nuclear ' Regulatory ? Commission. (NRC) '
review of Reference 1.
A draft of the Reference 1 response was discussed.with' the NRC on: November 30, 1992.
As a result'of that' review'the.NRC requested-additional detailed discussion on three transients.
The-Attachment to:this letter provides the additional details and incorporates.' comments received from.
the NRC in a February 10, 1993, telephone confernnce; The additional-detailed discussion concerns WCNOC's " Transient Analysis Methodology for the Wolf CreekJ Generating Station" which was submitted in Reference 3.

A draf t of this response was provided to the NRC on January 20, 1993 -and -

comments were received.in the February 10, 1993, telephone conference.
As'a result of comments received it was mutual'y agreed to provide this response by

February 25, 1993.
As discussed in Reference 3,
it is again respectfully requested ' that. the Attachment to' this letter be regarded as proprietary inf orma tion',
in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 2.790, and ~ be withheld from public -
disclosure on the grounds ' that it contains trade secrets and confidential commercial information.
The affidavit, which accompanied - Reference. 3i sets forth the basis by which this information should be. withheld' from public disclosure by the Commission and addressees.
