Dear Dr. Murley:
This letter shall inform you that LaSalle County Station intends to invoke ASME Code Case N-498 for the first ten year interval of the System Pressure Testing Program for LaSalle County Station Units 1 and 2.
This Code Case title is " Alternate Rules for 10 year Hydrostatic Pressure Testing for Class 1 and 2 SystemsSection XI, Division 1." The NRC was approved this Code Case for use in Regulatory Guide 1.147, Revision 9, dated April 1992.
LaSalle County Station will update the LaSalle UFSAR Section 5.2 to reflect the use of this Code Case.
