Dear Mr. Mendonca:

This letter confirms our telephone discussions during the past weeks concerning changes in the management of Aerotest Operations, Inc., and the Reactor Super-visor for the Aerotest Radiography and Research Reactor (ARRR). The changes e sulted from the upcoming retirement of Hugo Simens and were effective Monday, 8 February 1993.

Mr. Simens will remain as an active consultant to Aerotest.

through July 1993~.

I:am the new President of Aerotest Operations and will remain as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Ray Tsukimura has been appointed General Manager and as such will run the day-to-day activities of Aerotest Operations.

Richard Newacheck will remain as the Chairman of the Reactor Safeguards Committee.

Alfredo W. Meren is the new Reactor Supervisor for ARRR. He holds a'B. S.

degree in Chemical Engineering from San Jose State University and has been a Senior Reactor Operator for ARRR since 1985. During his six years in the U. S.

Navy, prior to joining Aerotest, he held a variety of reactor operator. positions-on board the nuclear-power submarine U. S. S. Bremerton.
