-By-letter dated January G, 1990, you provider the first of two required-responses to the subject GL. ;Your response described the> service water systems at the Calvert Cliffs site which include one open-cycle systemz(Salt.

Vater) and two intermediate / closed-cycle systems.(Component Cooling and Service Water). Your response addressed each of'the five recommended actions in the GL. The information included descriptions of the current programs and-planned actions to augment the current programs.

In-those cases where programs are not currently in place to address the recommended actions, descriptions of the.
