NOTICE OF VIOLATION i

Union Electric Company Docket No. 50-483 Callaway County Nuclear Power Plant License No. NPF i EA No.90-028 During an NRC inspection ~ conducted on January 22 and February 8,1990,- violations of NRC requirements were identified.

In accordance with the " General Statement of Policy and Procedure for NRC Enforcement Actions," 10 CFR Part 2, Appendix'C.

(1989), the violations are listed below:

10 CFR 73.21(d)(2) requires, in part, that Safeguards Information be stored in a locked security storage container while unattended.

The Callaway physical security plan (PSP) and safeguards site contingency plan (SCP) are considered Safeguards Information as described in 10 CFR 73.21(b)(1)(i)and(b)(1)(viii),respectively.
