l The Committee to Review Generic Requirements (CRGR) met on Wednesday, j
March 28 1990 from 1:00-5:30 p.m.
The following item was addressed at themeetIng:
1.
W. Minners (RES) and K. Kniel (RES) presented for CRGR review a proposed l
l rule on nuclear power plant license renewal.
The Comittee did not complete its review of this matter but provided a number of coments and
[
recommendations.
The RES staff stated they planned to revise the package, as appropriate, as a result of CRGR comments, resolving OGC comments and l
obtaining OGC concurrence, NRR review and ACRS review and provide the revisions one week prior to future meeting (scheduled for April 18,1990).
The Committee expects to complete its review at that meeting.
This l
matter is discussed in Enclosure 2.
In accordance with the ED0's July 18,1983 directive concerning " Feedback and Closure of CRGR Reviews," a written response is required from the cognizant office to report agreement or disagreement with the CRGR recommendations.
The Office response to these minutes is deferred until CRGR review is completed.
Therefore, no RES response to this memo is required at this time.
